This team takes care of all your paperwork, including electronic data integration (EDI) setup and plugging in the electronic infrastructure for any third party integrations. They also work with end vendors to help set up the software and enable workflow on the clinical side.
Kareo's data specialists work closely with a key contact in your practice, to drive the process and let you know exactly what we need from you to successfully migrate your data into your new Kareo systems, including existing billing or clinical data, appointments and insurance providers.
Through an onboarding experience catered to your practice, your onboarding manager will ensure that your practice is set up for success. Using their expertise, they will work closely with your practice to ensure that every necessary step is completed and that each important milestone is reached.
You will have access to support in-app and via email or phone. Email and in-app web forms can be submitted at any time, while phone support is provided during normal business hours of 5am to 4pm Pacific Standard Time.

Activation of Tebra Payments requires a sub-merchant agreement subject to approval by Tebra Payment Processing at its sole discretion. Are pre-payments available?

Yes! Kareo offers the option to pre-pay subscription fees in advance. Your Solution Consultant can discuss this scenario and other options with you.
How long does setup take?
Show
You can sign up now and start using your account immediately. You can begin sending electronic claims to all commercial insurance companies within 48 hours. A few payers, such as Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, may require signup to file an insurance-specific enrollment form before you can submit electronic claims. Once these payers process your enrollment form, typically within 5-30 days, you can begin sending electronic claims to these payers immediately through Kareo.
Can you import my data into Kareo?

Yes. Kareo does offer Data Import services. We are able to import a variety of data, ranging from patient demographics to insurance lists. There may be a charge for our import services, which will depend on the kind of data we will be importing. The price generally ranges from $250 to $1500, depending on the volume of data and time that it takes to transfer. We are able to complete most projects within 5-7 business days. You can provide your data in a variety of formats, including a Comma–Separated Value (.CSV) or Microsoft Excel (.XLS), Text (.TXT), Access Database (MDB), etc. Alternatively, if you are unable to export/acquire your data, we can remotely access your system and attempt to acquire your data for you at no additional charge.
Can Kareo be used outside of the United States?

No. Due to the varying healthcare landscapes and regulatory protocols outside of the United States, Kareo can only be used in the US and it's five major territories (e.g. American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands).
